In the silence of the sea, the world seems to pause — a liminal space where reality and possibility converge. From sea to see stretches this moment through art, inviting curiosity if we look beyond the surface into currents of perception, identity, and the unknown with the potential for discovery.

The title plays on the dual meaning of "see," shifting focus from the sea’s vastness to the act of seeing itself. Set within the Kasteel Hof d’Intere, the exhibition bridges different artistic practices, cultures and perspectives. It brings together international artists originally from Iran, Georgia, Russia, Belgium, and China who all chose to live in Belgium. and whose works are inspired by their own histories and experiences.

From sea to see offers a chance to reimagine how we think, look, and interpret the world, encouraging new perspectives and ways of seeing. Inspired by the horizon where sea meets sky, the exhibition becomes a space for exchange, where art serves as both a mirror to the self and a bridge to the other.
